Prayer explores the hidden aspects of identity through the tension between body, spirit, life, and death. The figure, fragmented and multiplied, reflects the breaking down of human boundaries and the change of the body into a vessel of consciousness. Radiating light from its core, the work symbolizes an inner awakening, an illumination that goes beyond flesh and matter.
Balancing between a sacred and unsettling presence, the suspended heart and skull serve as symbols of vitality and mortality. They remind us of the delicate yet cyclical nature of existence. The composition invites viewers into an immersive conversation with the unseen parts of the self, echoing the ongoing interaction between the physical and the spiritual.
By combining mythological imagery with modern digital techniques, Prayer represents the merging of dualities—life and death, body and soul, presence and absence. This creates a space where identity is fluid, expansive, and transformed.
For the art style, It was inspired by Billelis. To reach the style like, I created the gold ring with animation BluePrint and modeled some other gold texture props for the creature look. Props was created in Maya and Zbrush. All the Texture made in Substance Painter. Rendering in Unreal Engine 5.1 and Postprocess in DaVinci Resolve.
