This second Unreal Engine project was made during Game Creation 2 class with Anton Napierala. Really getting more improvement on learning unreal engine. :) with a focus on the lighting and forest setup. The inspiration for the scene came from "The Last of Us 2" trailer. I modeled the main assets, including the car, wood trunk, and small green house, in Autodesk Maya and Maxon Zbrush. Texturing was done in Adobe Substance 3D Painter, with the car base texture tiled in Designer. I used small assets from Quixel Megascan to add polish to the scene. The trees and grass were created in SpeedTree.
When I took VFX for games. I had an idea to make this scene into night version. Learing niagara to make fireflies, falling leaves VFX. The fire is from unreal engine marketplace and applies flicking effect by creating in blueprint.
